I just got a used 2013 Acura RDX with tech package. After looking at reviews for this all weather may and mats made by non-Acura companies, I decided to try this one out. So far, so good! The mat came packaged in a plastic bag, covered by a large flat cardboard encasement. Some of the review indicated their mats were rolled up, but since mine came flat, I was able to just put it right into back of the car and go. No need to unroll or wait for the mat to settle. My RDX has the tan interior, or parchment color, so I definitely need a mat in the back to keep it clean. All my all weather mats that the dealership provided are black, as is this mat. There are no nubs underneath like some mats need to be held in place, but I prefer that because there won't be any indentation in the carpet. It really is a perfect fit, so it doesn't slide around and I don't have to cut it to make it fit in the car. No, the material is not rubber, but rather a plastic like material. So it doesn't have any chemical smell and didn't need to be aired out. And at a fraction of the cost the dealership was offering for the same exact mat, this was a bargain that will protect my investment in the car. Happy girl here.
