Joint that attaches to the handlebar is made of weak feeling plastic. Probably sturdy enough to last a year or so depending on how you ride. Unfortunately I don’t see any other mirror at a higher price point.To see!This bike mirror set is perfect. It’s not a cheap product. It allows for adjustments for anyone who rides the bike. It’s so nice to see behind you as you are pedaling around. Especially where we live has few sidewalks. So, we have to ride on the roads. Strong, clear, and an accessory that adds to your bike. The bell is an added bonus. Safety, durability, and user friendly. Also, this was installed on an electric bike and a child’s bike to see if it fit both. Yes it did. I will be buying more to keep on the children's bikes. Think it will help them long term when they become driving age. Learning to use mirrors on a bike will help to know how to use mirrors in vehicles. Highly recommended.
