On the size chart, I am on the smaller end of the Large (measured via tape measure and not my pants size!). It fits ok, but not tight enough for my liking. The card that came with the item said to email them for issues, so I did. They responded promptly and sent me the medium to try! Awesome customer service! I liked the fit of medium better. If you are like me who's in the lower end of your actual size and prefers a tight fit with the shorts, consider sizing down. I'm not sure why some reviews suggested to size up, but it may depend on the measurements of your hips too, so make sure you measure!Only have a few rides so far but they fit great and are really comfortable. Can't ask for anything more than that!Fit well, good productPadding is larger than I expected based on display. However great shorts for long rides based on comfort. Really bummed me out because I thought I found the perfect shorts for a quick ride.Assembly: Easy>>> TIP <<< Everything is taped/packed together into one large block, so it’s easier to open the box from the bottom, then slide the box up to remove it (vs opening from the top and trying to pull stuff out - there’s nothing to grab on to).- The main unit is mostly pre-assembled. You basically need to screw on the front and rear stabilizer bars, the mostly pre-assembled handlebar unit, the seat, and the pedals. Pics of the components in the manual.- Was able to set it up solo, propping it up with the styrofoam packing for the first two steps.- All needed tools included, and they’re of sufficient quality to complete the build.Usage/Design:- Almost silent during use. Your heavy breathing is likely to be louder.- I’m on the shorter side, and find the seat could use another inch or so of forward adjustment. It’s still perfectly useable, just not optimal ergonomics- I like the relatively lighter flywheel, which is 6.4 lbs vs. the 35-40 lbs of many other stationary bikes. Less weight = less intertia/momentum = more work to keep going. At least in theory, granted I didn’t do so great in Physics classes, so I could be wrong.- Seat uses a standard clamp mount (pic), easy enough to swap out if you want- Note that the max weight is 240 lbs (110 kg) per the manual and the stickers on the bike (pics). Current listing says 300 lbs.Build quality:- All the metal pieces feel solid and sturdy, with no noticeable quality control issues. Screws/holes lined up fine.- The pedals work fine, but feel a little cheap/basic. They seem standard sized (pic), so should be easy to swap out if you want some fancier ones.- Main concern is the metal quality, but there’s no way to tell other than long term use. I’ve seen a few rare cases with other stationary bikes where the pedal spindle or bolt/screw connecting the crank arm to the belt drive system can break off, potentially causing injury. Will update of course if that happens.- The adjustment sliders (particularly for seat height and handlebar height) are a little sticky, so if you frequently need to adjust the heights, you may want to loosen them up somehow.Etc:- My console was frequently resetting itself at random the first few uses. Turns out it was due to the 2 AAA batteries included being bad.- Water bottle holder placement is very inconvenient. You can only use it when you’re not pedaling.- The phone/tablet holder isn’t great. 1 - At 3/8”, the cradle isn’t very deep, so it won’t hold a device with a thick case; my iPhone 12 with a slim-ish case juuust fits. 2 - At 4.75” wide x 4.24” tall, it feels a little small for a full sized tablet, especially since it’s just a hard plastic surface (as opposed to maybe some silicone to help dampen the vibrations and hold a device in place.- Haven’t tried the app, since I don’t want more junk on my phone/tablet.
