I'm using this with the GoPro 9. I haven't run into any of the issues that I saw in other reviews. The remote battery lasted quite a long time - several hours with almost constant use and it was still at about 2/3 capacity, which is much, much longer than the camera battery lasts. I found the range to be perfectly suitable, and it connected to the camera just as you would connect the official GoPro camera.I would prefer if it just had a standard micro or USB-C charge port so I could use a standard charge cable, but otherwise, I can't find anything to complain about. Using the remote has made recording much, much easier for me.
